ok, a little update!
my choice of areas in la Poeterie are getting small!!! the two areas i had planned on taking for me terrain are now starting to be renovated! FUCK!
but, i have a back up plan
there is four smaller areas on the back side of the building that i can take and one very large area that was purchased by another artist, but is not planning on using for the next few years. and i have a nice forest area behind us that i think i can use (need to find the owner and make a deal)
the owner/friend/boss of la Poeterie likes my idea and wants to help and play, to make this terrain possible. (and the old weather woman from "Canal plus" and her new husband (movie producer) want to play too.
right now, the only thing from me going out and putting up a field is time. TIME! ahhhh!! right now i don't have a free weekend planned until the 19th october
i am either at paris or..... at paris working. so, once i have free time. i'll give you guys a nice update
so, for now. a few rules for when we do open up
-no competition paint (it leaves lots of residue that requires washing)
-no full auto or electros (too many paintballs in such a small space and lots of cleaning required)
-no shooting sculptures, cars, dogs, cats, me
-either powderballs or forest paint(to be determined) is allowed
what CAN be guaranteed for the terrain is:
-at least three floors
-bomb diffuse scenarios
-hostage scenarios
-air on site
-shower, fridge, beds, electricity, fun
-workshop with tools/parts in case of break downs or modifications
here is the compressor that will be on site. (i plan on buying this middle next month)
it is a step-up compressor, it works with a normal and increases the PSI that is then stored into a holding tank.
http://www.shoeboxcompressor.com/products.htmli will post another update this week with details as to the areas i can use and future expansion areas for the terrain.
