ok! so i had the possiblility to play with my new toy yesterday at "Paintball Vibration"
I LIKE IT! basically, it is a Tiberius 9.1, without the large handle and it is more accurate.
the spyder rep on
www.pbnation.com suggests you find paintballs that are .687 in diameter to properly fit the barrel
the noise when you fire is fairly loud, it is between the loudness of a tippmann a-5 and phenom. almost the same as a tiberius 9.1 (i really like it)
Pro:
-kick when firing (feels like a real gun) there is a little more kick than a .22 cal rifle.
-the trigger feels really good when you pull
-magazines are strong a durable. they don't loose paintballs like the tipx.
-i love the cocking system
-very efficient on air. i never once ran out. i would fill up to 2000 psi and fire about 800 paintballs and be at 1300 psi.
-still shoots fairly straight after a jam/barrel break
-shoots FS rounds!!!!!!
-LAPCO or hammerhead silencers will work with the stock barrel
-lighter than my phenom
cons:
-original stock is flimsy and cheap plastic (i changed mine)
-changing from mag to barrel fed can cause a jam ever once in a while (have to pull really hard on cocking system to clear jam)
-when a jam occurs, you can't fully clean the inside unless you completely remove the barrel (holding gun upside down otherwise your loader will empty down the barrel hole, same with mag) and swab it clean.
-no after market barrels yet
-velocity jumps ALLOT! 250-290-232-260-270-290-265 when i chronod it (going to by an in-line rgulator for it. or a high-end bottle
i had large problems with accuracy and breakage, but it was because of crappy paintballs from a bad box. i am going to clean and re-test tomorrow night and i will give you my opinion on the accuracy, with photos and such.
